I don’t think the hot glue gun is going to work on this on one. First time I’ve been inside of one of these. They refer to this as a poppet valve system however, there are cams that may override the crankcase pressure and vacuum? Here are some pictures.
A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
