Just to play devil’s advocate here, I have a PO-15, an SD-20, and a 14 foot Mirro-Craft aluminum boat and they all play well together. The PO and the SD are direct drive, so to gears to mess with and no water pump to worry about. You need to be pointed in the right direction when you pull the rope, but that is pretty basic stuff. The PO is HEAVY, but it is a very easy motor to run, and it is FUN!
