The Hastings Co in MN makes all sizes of piston rings for Mercury & others. Yes a piston from a JF7, MK20 & MK25 can be used if all std. bore. You will have to separate the block from the crankcase then remove the piston from the connecting rod. There is no removal head, it’s just a water jacket cover
