Thanks for the advice!  We had tried that, without success.  It’s a new-to-me motor, and I’ve never had the flywheel off yet.  Pretty sure it’s not been used for many years, so has had quite a long time to fuse itself nicely…

We know we’re not getting spark on the bottom cylinder, regardless of the spark plug.  I have one of those spark testers with me.  It’s not all that important that we get it off this week, as I have another motor that we’re using for the week.  I was just hoping to get this one running while I had some family up here – and it’s the kind of thing we enjoy playing with.
