    we have no answer on the reason to change pistons yet…these oldies are hard to kill if oiled properly and kept out of water !

    that name plate and transom bracket looks  bad (neglected)  possibly an old  salty. If the rest looks like that I would look for  a grandpa   motor.    post full pictures..cowl    L.U.    GC etc…

    condensers are everywhere …incl dealers.. !  or can be repaired easy .   see m.Mohat articles on condensers  series 1-4
