Sounds like something is stressing the coil… causing higher than normal voltage buildup. What could do that ?? high resistance in the secondary circuit caused by…
- way too big a spark plug gap
- carbon core SP wire
- real bad connection in the SP boot
- real bad SP
- maybe a resistance core SP
- a combination of the above
- I’m running out of ideas here… Help !
