Thank you Phil and crosbyman, The water in the bucket did more than cover the horizontal intake holes on the leg But I will look again at the pump location (I don’t recall a bump/bulge)(If it pumps water that would be great.) Thanks. I will be looking at you tubes about how to measure VOM on the AMP scale, I have a couple of old meters. If the meters I have are to far gone it will be time for another as they are not expensive (I’m not needing a Fluke!)
