Chris, I don’t know the answer but I have a question… is this the original starter solenoid? or a replacement? The reason I ask, if by chance you have an automotive solenoid in place of the proper marine solenoid. you will have BIG fried wire problems. The two types have very similar appearances but are wired internally totally different.
