    Frank Kirsch told me as a die designer for a body supplier he burned a lot of midnight oil figuring out how to stamp roof panel, I think it had to do with the compound curves at all four corners. It finally came to him and he said it must have been a pretty good ideaa as theyey did it

    him, He later started his own company.He invented and patented a number of his ideas.
