there isn’t much to wire … a single wire to the back coil point has explained.
I am surprised no “hole” can be found as per OP’s comment there is not a hole in magneto plate to get wire up,
if true maybe the mag plate got substituted …..I woud just drill one in a convinient place. A hole large enough to install a small grommet to protect the wire from the plate
