    do a full cleaning on the carb.   check idle circuit path  on the side of the carb and the top  drip chamber …blow all passages with carb cleaner and a blast of air pressure.

    at starting fuel  is sucked in via the top idle chamber which must be clean.

    to service oldies thisis the best book for the price
