Post a Picture Gary….and it’s better to start a new thread. Not much chance of anyone noticing your question down at the bottom of this one.
Looking at Discount Marine Parts site….in 1967 Elgin was manufactured by McCulloch. If that’s the case the model number should have a 574. prefix. Yours might be a Canadian model; that might alter things a bit. There was an Elgin “Skipper” made by West Bend but that was around 1958; it was a big motor….maybe 35HP or so.
