Reply To: Mercury manufacture date

Googling that model number comes up with a bunch of people selling that model currently.  Nevertheless;  Date of Manufacture is different.  They may still be selling stock that was built/purchased years back.

Mercury Marine themselves offers a serial number look-up and an associated Parts Finder.  As has been typical with Mercury;  model year is insignificant when it comes to ordering parts.  Everything is done by the serial number.

Your Parts Manual here:  Search by Serial Number:

I know this does not answer your specific question  (What year is my motor).
