Thanks for your story, Tubs.  The photo of the old camp being demolished is heartbreaking.  At least the camp they built is not too garish. I’m glad you’ve gotten to enjoy that pond all these years. its clear to me that you appreciate it in all the right ways.  I don’t have a house on the water but I get to spend time on lots of Maine ponds, lakes, and rivers.  I feel so lucky to live here.  Come to one of our meets when you are here this summer.  -DK
