I’ve always just drilled rivets out and driven center few laminates out with punch then did the rest.How ever,I think there was a recent post on this that seemed much easier.I’ll see if I can find it.

I tried drilling a hole thru the center of the laminates (1/4″ or so)
and using a rod in the hole as a punch. It didn’t go as good
as I hoped.
