Johnson changed from screws to attach steering rails to studs and nuts beginning in early 1925. An early 1925 A-25 would have had screws but a later 1925 or 1926 A-25 would have had studs and nuts, however there would have been some overlap.Your 1924 A would have definitely had screws.
