So, it has been a while since I added to this forum, Tubs, but I remember what you said about not just leaning the Evinrude up against the wall. Well, I searched some photos of motor crates, including the cover photo of the father/son with the ’49 Johnson motor in the crate. So, I built my own crate out of pine board 1 X 8 ‘s. it is below and now safely in my shed. Still gotta get a boat though, LOL.
