    Well, the lower gearcase should come off with its stubby driveshaft.  It is possible that the upper driveshaft is stuck in the crankshaft but this won’t prevent the gearcase from coming down…  The only other thing kind of holding things together is the water tube gromment, but that shouldn’t present that much resistance.
