Morgan, location and motor condition affects motor prices. EBay often tends to mislead individuals to the motor’s actual worth. EBay sellers often inflate prices in hopes to gain more profit from from uninformed buyers or an impulse buy.
If your motor was in good running condition and needed no work or replacement parts like ignition components, then you could expect $175 to about $250 for your motor.
A non running, untested motor that is complete, but in good cosmetic condition could command about $75 to $125 dollars. People do like to using little motors for trolling with canoes. Unfortunately, they would have to do their own repairs and find replacement parts. The company went out of business several decades ago.
Again, location and condition of is every thing. I feel my suggestion is a fair estimate for the area around Texas metro areas. Areas that are bit more rural tend to command lower prices.
I hope this helps you out. Good luck with your sell. Thanks for visiting our site.
