Well Jonathan not long ago I had a A-25 with the original wires. I have pictures but I’m away from home and the lap top has expired.  From memory which isn’t very reliable and why I have pictures they were black woven 8 mm. There is someone who often post here who’s name escapes me that is very knowledgable on the early Johnson so if you don’t get a response move this thread back up so he might see it.        Tubs
