Well, with my iPhone I took a .mov movie of this Evinrude motor running which impressed me . I just can’t upload the movie on this site. So Tubs, you were right not to give up on the motor. I have spark, fuel system is clean although I will have to take apart the carb since it was running really rough and just quit after about 30 seconds. questions: I did not see water coming out of the small spout behind the exhaust manifold. how do I know if the impeller is working ; where does the cooling water exit , a blowhole or out of the exhaust pipe? also, when I primed the carb to start, fuel was leaking out of the screen under the carb. I don’t know what that is about. thanks for any help.
