I once had a ’56 Scott Atwater 5hp that was beautiful, but was allergic to lake water. It would run fantastic in a barrel, but every time I put it on a boat, it would not start up after the first run down the lake, thus making a long paddle back. I gave up and gave it away to another sucker….I didn’t have the heart to sell it for good money. I hope you have better results..
