Cavitation plates were a separate piece until the 1925 A25 model when the cavitation plate and gearcase guard became one piece.Before 1925 they were available as an accessory.I own examples of all the A models from a very early 3 digit serial# 1922 A to a very late 1926 A25 and there were many little changes like that through years.
