    Thanks guys. I will try rotating it back into place, because I really don’t want to dissemble the whole thing. Will post updates.

    Ironically , the last guy didn’t line up the impeller drive pin correctly and then it still didn’t pump water and that’s what caused him to dislodge the shift rod on the second try ( and then give up)
