    I  just refurbished CD GC and had issues with the shock absorber… if you experience binding below the impeller housing make certain the shock absorber measures 6 inch 11/16th

    I resised mine with a hammer  and add the s.a. welded .. resealed GC and pressure tested it to 15psi 🙂
