Are you sure that coil is bad? I have had a bunch
of motors with that magneto, actually working
on a 38 Pal right now, and never had a bad coil
but – I have had a lot of them that wouldn’t put
out a spark because the points needed cleaning.
More than just the contacts. They need to be
disassembled.
