    Maybe there’s an easier way, but I used a thin-line vinyl tape to mask off the outer edge of the medallion and the “30” then used an Exacto knife to trim the edges, then spray painted the cream.  Pretty meticulous work – one medallion came out really nice on the first try but the other one took maybe 3 attempts.
