    Yes, I painted the cowl interior Holiday Bronze.   While painting the exterior Bronze, I only applied a light coat over the side “wings” that receive the cream accent.  Prior to painting the wings,  I used steel wool to remove most of the bronze (nearly down to the primer) then shot the cream accent.
