Did a bunch of cleaning this morning, then
I started putting the clam back in the clamshells today.
I cut three 1/8″ thick rubber gasket circles to glue to
the bottom side rubber mounts, and the bottom rear,
to help tighten things up.
The newer style clam shells with the vibration damper
on each side seemed to really “snug” things up too.
I wished I had a video from years ago when I got the motor,
and tested it in the barrel, to show how bad the clam was
shaking in it’s shell…. hopefully this time around will be better!
