Need3fish, rewind and mag are already off, and I found nothing similar
to what was in the carb “lurking about”.
I chickened out on the taste test, but did touch a lighter to a pile of the
carb substance. While the flame did increase slightly, the stuff would
not burn on it’s own.
Frank’s guess is probably good as any as to what it was.
The bottom of the carb bowl was somewhat pitted, but the carb is back
together, and I found no major issues with it.
Prepare to be boarded!
