at the onset the pressure tank is NOT pressurized so just the carb and carb bowl have fuel in it . odd the recoil starter would impact enough pressure to have the fuel come up the HS nozzle because any pressure would just end up in the tank.
close both needles and see if flooding still occurs after a brief choking ….
if it still floods ckeck for any missing lead plugs in certain carb passages
recheck needle packings
what does gas comes out of ” back “of carb mean exactly ???
