    carb  float sticking is likely.. the only way the carb can overflow is with excess gas pouring in

     

    squeeze the bulb and if you can’t get it to harden up the inlet needle/float is not doing it’s job     just like a leaky toilet bowl float

    did you conver to pump or still using  air pressure tank ??

     

    “pull open the choke” ===> means choking               did you mean  “push in the choke”    to  stop the choking    or   did I read you wrong ??
