Mumbles, that old gal sure runs nice!
I noticed today that the spark plug wires coming out of
the bottom, back of the mag plate, lay right on top
of the muffler, and the later is not water cooled.
Have you noted this to be an issue?
I can’t tell from the parts manual, but I presume
that there was originally some grommets where
the plug wires exit to “daylight”.
Did you have to make some new ones?
The last guy before me used a chunk of fuel hose for
a grommet. Works, but not the best looking.
We now have spark on “Both” cylinders!
