    Actually, a lot of mfrs used that neutral clutch concept at one time or another. Martin had it on their twist shift 75. Champion used it too, for both forward and reverse. As did Mercury on their Automatic Transmission. Even the OMC electric shift outboards and Stern Drives!!!
