As a sidebar question, what have you all used to remove the coil juice? My entire power head is covered.
Steve, I first tried mineral spirits, acetone, and lacquer thinner……
none did much, so I resorted to mechanical means.
Scrappers, drill with wire brush, and Dremel with various brushes.
I cleaned on it for two days before I was satisfied enough
to paint the power head.
Anything that I could unbolt from the power head went in the
sandblaster…… much easier!
P.S.- I just had a thought, and wondered why I didn’t try a hair dryer
or propane torch to soften up the resin first.
