Tubs, those carts are much “classier” than the one I made my son thirty plus years ago.
It did hold up pretty good though…… it just got sold a month ago, still running.
My son and I took it down the driveway one last time each to revive some fun memories.

I built those some 65+ plus years ago. Didn’t
have trash pickup. Burned what you could.
The rest you took to the dump. Back then
while you were getting rid of what you didn’t
want you could very well go home with something
that someone else no longer had any use for.
Rotary lawn mowers were a new thing and
people were taking perfectly good reel type
mowers to the dump. They were just going to
get buried anyway so they could care less if you
took them. Occasionally you could get one from
a neighbor saving them the trip. There were 4 of
us that were into this kind of stuff. B&S and
Clinton motors were common finds. Wheels
that we could use were the hardest to come by.
Times have really changed.
When I lived it town I’d do my morning walk in
the neighborhood before the trash was picked up.
People are still throwing perfectly good stuff away.
Never saw any outboards though.
Tubs.
