    I did, what I did not do is install the cork gasket between the central main jet and the float bowl.  I had rebuilt the carb on this new-to-me boat when I got it.  I just put it back together how I found it assuming the last guy did it right.  Anyway, that gasket definitely needs to be there.  It’s all back together now and running well.
