Reply To: Evinrude with two head gaskets

Okay now I understand why he was using two gaskets there’s a clearance issue between the piston and the head for some reason the Piston is hitting the head with a single gasket and it’s so bad that the fly you can hear it when you try to spin the motor it makes it terrible sound.

Someone has even tried filing the Piston away..

I’ve uploaded pictures where it’s hitting on both the top and bottom circled in red..
