Mumbles.. are your certain on this one ??    seems a bigger cap will absorb more kick back and  further stop arcking  whereas a  a smaller one will be incapable  of doing the job of storing the kickback  and  let  the EMF kickback shoot across the points

 

Mr.Mohat wester Region article seemed to  indicate much tolerance can be  expected from bigger caps see article …paragraph on sizing caps
