I always like to quote the old USPS advertisement, with regard to condensers in my old engines: “If it fits, it ships.” I don’t know how many times I have put condensers made for Chevrolets into Bendix magnetos and it works beautifully, every time, for my interests. I wouldn’t do this to an engine for the fire department or something critical; but otherwise, it’s gonna be just fine.

Long live American manufacturing!
