Frank I said black but was indeed referring to the black stripe. When I got it it was blue and white (and red and….) Thanks for the picture this will help a lot. When you Google 58 Evinrude lark there are actually 3 different type motors that come up. (Different years I suppose)

It's a jungle out there.
