That is not gear oil. It is the oil that you mixed with the gas. It has gone through the engine, some burned (smoke) and the rest out the exhaust where it emulsified with water, Probably agrivated by the mis-firing and bucket-running. Get it running correctly, and on a boat where it was intended to run, and adjusted properly, and it will run much cleaner.
