    The tub and shaft are not bend.  I disasembled the whole lower unit and took out the pump and prop shaft gear.  I now was able to assemble the aluminum tube and install the tube into the lower shaft of the powerhead.  I still couldn’t turn the motor by hand, but tried using a drill and it did turn over, but was very tight.  Everything is well lubercate.  Haven’t replaced the pump or prop shaft gear yet.

    Can the lower crank be off center?

    Anyother ideas!
