Hello Andy and welcome!   I guess I am your man when it comes to hooking up a Teleflex steering system.   I am not fond of the old cable systems but they are period correct for some outfits.  Your glenL will do great with a smooth quiet steering cable.  BTY this is just my opinion and do what you want because there are plenty of people on this forum much smarter than me!  Anyway I don’t know how handy you are so  what I show you will depend on a few things you need to be able to do like welding.  First and most important is you need a anchoring plate to hold the cable.  That anchor needs to move in several directions.  I used a tie rod end from an automobile on my first endeavor.  I welded a piece of pipe to  the head of the tie rod.  That worked but, it needed a way to move up and down.  So I made a modification and now it works very well.   I am sending some pictures.  I hope they help with your project.  If you like to email me my address is in the members only section.

My son has built a glenL zipp.  He did a great job on that outfit.  I could send some pictures of that baby also.
