Me thinks the motor was at the Recycler’s / Dump for a good reason.
Sometimes the motor seems jammed up or frozen, and if you mess
around with it, it would turn over with a wrench, with notable compression.
Made some funny noises as well when it was getting un-jammed.
I dropped the lower unit today and popped the flywheel which wasn’t
the problem. I should have quit there, but out of curiosity, I
pulled out the powerhead, and it’s awaiting on the work bench
for further inspection.
Most likely I’ll be using the parts for trading stock at Tomahawk!
