    Look on Ebay for Military Standard Coil they fir right on Mercury Bendix magneto but you need to reroute spark wire. Changing to Phelon magneto is good if you can find one but they  cost about $150 plus with all the parts.  I have installed OMC coils on Bendix magneto and they work good.
