    I play around repairing vintage audio gear during the winter months and am having trouble finding certain semiconductors, caps,  and resistors right now which are normally available. Digi-Key and Mouser have extremely long wait times for some of them and it could be due to covid.  Lots of things we take for granted are in short supply right now.

    About those caps, you think ceramics will work OK and hold up?  You might want to try and find the data sheets for them and compare them to film caps which we know are reliable in magneto applications.
