    Here’s the thing.  The wrong forward gear in the 30 hp gear case worked just fine.  But he 30 hp  forward gear in the 35 hp gear case did not.

    But who’s to say how much of this stuff is original equipment in either gear case?

    I would like to find a nice gear case original to my model someday.
