do you need the whole kit just to replace the impeller on the early 5. -7.5s?
not sure about that question …
the answer being … just buy an impeller if your original impeller casing and plate is ok.
but for the price of an impeller depending on brand , shipping $$, quality etc… the new kit is probably the way to go.
