Ah ha….Thanks! That makes sense, as I never had much interaction with the 60 degree loopers, other than gas pouring out of the carbs, a few times. It sounds like the method of flywheel attachment is similar to what Yamaha does on their late-model, larger engines. The tool looks interestingly archaic. I was hoping it was for something cooler than that.
